With this agreement, patrons of participating public libraries will now have access to bestselling titles from HMH authors via their smartphones, tablets and laptops, including the The Giver by Lois Lowry, Skylight by José Saramago, The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien, and Life of Pi by Yann Martel and titles by other authors including Margaret Atwood, Adam Rubin, Mark Bittman, and Linda Sue Park.

There is no waiting to borrow titles on hoopla digital since on-demand content can be enjoyed by multiple patrons simultaneously. Patrons who use hoopla digital also avoid library late fees as digital content borrowing periods simply expire without charges.
