hoopla digital Announces Content Licensing Agreement with The Walt Disney Studios

Category-Creating Service Adds Animated and Live Action Favorites for Patrons of Participating Public Libraries

 HOLLAND, Ohio (March. 16, 2015) – hoopla digital (hoopladigital.com), today announced a new content licensing agreement with The Walt Disney Studios, bringing 100 celebrated titles to participating public libraries across the U.S. and Canada. Leading a new era of public library access, hoopla digital partners with public libraries across North America to provide patrons with simultaneous online and mobile access to dynamic digital content.

With this new content agreement, hoopla digital’s app and online platform adds popular Disney movies including The Muppet Movie, Recess: School’s Out, A Goofy Movie, The Sword in the Stone and more to its current offering of more than 295,000 videos, music and audiobooks. This content is now available for patrons to stream instantly to their smartphones, tablets and computers.

Through hoopla digital’s mobile app and website, this content is available for patrons of participating public libraries to borrow. Participating libraries only pay for what patrons use. In addition to The Walt Disney Studios, hoopla digital currently has deals in place with more than 200 other content companies.
